Remembrance Day 2000

The Year 5's study Australia at war and find out about Remembrance Day. In 2000 Remembrance Day fell on a Saturday. 12 Year 5 students attended the ceremony at the St Peters Memorial on the Saturday. The St Peters RSL Club donated $150 to the school which was used to purchase additional resources that would help the students, at East Adelaide, better understand the sacrifice made by so many men and women around the world.

Longwood Camp 2000
We went on camp to Longwood, in the Adelaide Hills, late in term 1
and had a wonderful time, especially eating wild blackberries!
