What makes Geckos special?
Geckos eyes are large to see in the dark.
They can lose their tail when they are attacked and grow a new tail later.
They have soft skin.
Their skin is so thin you can sometimes see into the body.
They have no eyelids.
They have claws or pads on their toes or sometimes both. The pads are not sticky. The pads have tiny hairy scales that can hook onto the smallest bumps on a flat wall.
They can make noises like barking. No other lizards have voices.
